what's happening with once apon a time in shaolin? i'm not really happy with the 88 year old clause has he decided that, that idea makes him look like an asshole? i like the kid that moongod allah albums was good i still listen to return of bei mei often, even moongod doesn't like him somebody needs to smack some sense into him he even got rza falling for the pork between the bun, no one even talks about elvis anymore, the rza is incapable of dropping a good album because he thinks he's a rockstar from the planet mars so this might be the last good album we get it took long enough to make the question is how we going to get it from ringz? the man wants an impossible sum that no one is going to give him unless he had jesus on the hook, what i like about the album is the variety of artists he got on there, i wouldn't mind to pay R200 for a copy i'm sure alot of people wouldn't if it's good couldn't he get it played on radio & earn some royalties or shoot a video, wu-tang is great they the best to do what they do so why not let the music sell itself all he needs to do is get it out there & promote it instead of being a selfish asshole i'm suprised no one kicked his ass in morroco yet maybe those cats don't understand english & think wu-tang is a Chinese band i don't know but if he was down here & i saw him i wouldn't kick his as but would definitely give him a piece of my mind & if he disagreed well then i'll kick his ass, i doubt i'm the only person who feels like that wouldn't want to be him right now he can't hide in his cave forever

most people feel that way
in the beginning I thought the one copy only album was a fine artistic statement (I told Ringz so on wucorp back then) but he took it too far in that he kept on promoting it to the outside world along with RZA as if this had always been the idea. but no, it started out as a Ringz / Killah Priest collabo, then it turned into a Ringz produced album with lots of Wu (fam) features that were gathered over various years. so it was really a cut and paste album. it probably is really good, Ringz can emulate that early wu sound to a tee
but his motivation for the one copy thing was that his album was gonna drown in a sea of other releases and that it would be torrented as soon as it was released anyway
wucorp fans are pissed cuz there had been a thread about this album over there for years in which he gave them updates, occasionally posted short snippets and even asked for some feedback once in a blue moon (for example the LORD OF ALL LORDS GENERAL ISLORD THE GREAT's verse)
this album has taken on a much bigger than life meaning, so much so that it will be hard for anyone involved in the project (Ringz, RZA) to back out of the concept now
I would be surprised if anyone actually paid a ton of money for OUATS so personally I think nobody's ever gonna hear this finished product
which is a shame
I think we're all better off just forgetting about the album, this thing is dead in the water I think
I understand, Ramesh, you feel like talking some sense into Ringz
peace

he will put the album out in time because less money is better than no money, he just got a messed up mentality, he's way of thinking is fucked up & it's not just on this album but just in general of what i got to know of him, not the type of guy i would hang out with i might just put my fist through his head alot of things he does is fucked up, i really didn't like his i album, i really didn't like that fuck america spree he went on, he's not even from there even though he got his wu-tang, rap & 5 million $ album from the country he was happy to see planes crash through their buildings seeing woman falling to their deaths is justifiable for his dutch ass, fuck him. he's not a terrorist he's just an asshole the type of guy you would want to avoid like the plague unfortunately he has something worthwhile in his dumb hands the stupid bastard might just set it a light

i can't believe a stupid bastard payed millions for a album that he can't even resell. that's the biggest problem i have with the shoalin project & the main reason i think cilvarings is a kunt. he could of sold the album & let whoever bought it do whatever they want with it & he wouldn't of looked like the biggest asshole on the planet, there's only a few guys those cock sucking faggots on wu-corp that look at him as a hero for doing this shit, fuck them & fuck cilvaringz. i bet he couldn't raise a $100 on his solo project wu-tang is for those guys apparently

i'm a south african & right now my rand is worth fuck all against the $ how the fuck are we supposed to raise $5 million? our neighbors in zimbabwe are basically eating each other as their zimbabwean $ is worth fuck all against the rand. illegal piracy effects all forms of entertainment it always has been like that & always will be, as an artist you have to find ways to succeed & there is many ways to succeed as many artists do. the story of cilvaringz started cool, the dutch kid who hopped on stage & rapped with rza, going to staten island he was someone you could feel for & then he went from that cool kung fu music to religious terrorist for real type shit that alienated a lot of people to the shit he was making. to me it looks like a dutch kid that's ashamed he is dutch which he shouldn't be & heavily into islam which is also not a bad thing as i believe all religion is good it's good to believe in something it's what teaches you compassion & a whole lot of other worthy virtues but in his case it's like to hide that he is dutch. religion is a sensitive subject as politics & race it's all shit that makes people feel uncomfortable personally i try to avoid tracks that talk about gangs, drugs & sex in 2015 i think the whole world is fed up with it also accounts for a lot of hip hop maybe that's why shit is not selling what it comes down to is once upon a time in shoalin is a bitch move by a pissed off artist who couldn't succeed & used the powers of others to do so. he had to put in the 88 year claim to show the world a big fuck you a revenge move because we all thought he was wack, mediocre at best he will be remembered as traitahRingz
